PP boards excel in chemical performance. They boast strong resistance to acids, alkalis, and organic solvents, remaining stable without dissolving or releasing toxins when in long-term high temperature. Therefore, they could be used for kitchen equipment.

Applications

For commercial kitchens, PP boards have a variety of practical specific uses: they can be used as kitchen wall protection panels and floor anti-slip boards to cover easy-to-dirty areas around stoves and sinks, forming an overall waterproof and stain-resistant layer for quick cleaning; they can also be directly processed into table tops, storage cabinet panels and drawer bottoms, adapting to the customized storage needs around equipment such as refrigerators and disinfection cabinets, with oil resistance and easy maintenance; in addition, they are used to make stove fire shields, fryer splash guards, refrigerator bottom moisture-proof pads, etc., isolating the erosion of high temperature and oil on equipment and walls, and extending the service life of equipment; furthermore, after cutting, they are laid on the inner wall of drainage gutters and the bottom of oil separators, with acid and alkali resistance, preventing the adhesion of sewage impurities and reducing pipe blockage and cleaning difficulty.​

Performance

PP boards also possess excellent performance advantages suitable for commercial kitchen environments: they have Class B1 fire resistance performance, not easy to burn when exposed to open flame and no toxic smoke release, meeting the fire acceptance standards for commercial kitchens and reducing fire hazards; their continuous temperature resistance reaches 100-120℃, which can directly contact the high-temperature areas around the stove, without softening or deformation during long-term use, maintaining structural stability; the surface of PP boards is dense and non-porous, so oil stains and water stains are not easy to penetrate, and they can be wiped clean with clean water or neutral detergent daily, reducing cleaning labor and time costs; moreover, they can resist the erosion of kitchen cleaning agents (such as strong alkaline oil removers) and food acids and alkalis (such as vinegar, soy sauce), without discoloration, cracking or material aging; finally, with a density of only 0.9-0.92g/cm³, PP boards are more than 50% lighter than stainless steel, facilitating installation and later transformation, and they can be sawn, milled and glued, enabling quick adaptation to different kitchen space sizes.
