Our PP sheets are lightweight yet durable, with high resistance to corrosion, acid and alkali, as well as moisture and mold-proof properties. Thus they are suitable for making sports equipments and constructing sports ground for consumers' health.
Firstly, they excel in moisture and corrosion resistance. With a dense, non-absorbent molecular structure, they will not get moldy, soften or fall off due to moisture (unlike traditional gypsum backing boards) in humid environments such as kitchens, bathrooms and underground garages. They can also resist slight corrosion from oil fumes and cleaning agents, maintaining structural stability for a long time. Secondly, they have significant lightweight characteristics, with a density of only 0.9-0.91g/cm³, much lighter than wood and metal backing boards. This greatly reduces the load-bearing pressure on ceiling keels, lowers installation difficulty and safety risks, while also having good impact resistance—minor collisions in daily use will not easily cause cracking or damage. Thirdly, construction and processing are convenient: they can be directly cut and drilled without complex tools, flexibly adapting to the size requirements of different ceiling designs. When paired with keels for splicing and installation, the efficiency is high, which can shorten the ceiling construction cycle. Fourthly, cleaning and maintenance costs are low: their smooth and flat surface is not easy to absorb dust and oil stains, and daily cleaning only requires wiping with a damp cloth, without the need for frequent renovation or painting; minor scratches can also be repaired through simple polishing. Fifthly, they are environmentally friendly and safe: no harmful substances such as formaldehyde and VOCs are released during production, avoiding air pollution in the ceiling space. When flame retardants are added, they can also meet the Class B1 flame-retardant standard, burning slowly with little smoke in case of fire and reducing fire risks. Sixthly, they have basic heat and sound insulation capabilities: their porous structure can help block part of the heat and sound waves, slightly improving the indoor temperature difference and acoustic environment, which is especially suitable for ceilings in ordinary residences or commercial spaces that require basic thermal insulation and noise reduction.
